Admiral faces Neftekhimik in today’s lone match!

Preview
In today’s crucial clash between Admiral and Neftekhimik, both teams are desperately vying for points to keep their playoff hopes alive despite trailing behind in the Eastern Conference standings. The Sailors, currently in 11th place with 37 points, aims to build on their recent success after defeating HC Sochi in their previous match. On the other hand, Neftekhimik finds itself in 10th place with 39 points but faces the challenge of breaking a three-game skid.

The teams are well aware of the significance of this encounter, given the narrow point differentials with the playoff spots. In their earlier meeting this year, Neftekhimik secured a narrow victory with a 4:3 scoreline, courtesy of a decisive double by Dmitry Sokolov. As the battle unfolds, both squads will strive to secure a crucial win and improve their standing in the intense race for a playoff berth. The teams will face off again tomorrow.
