Three games on a Christmas KHL matchday!

Preview
In today’s KHL Christmas match, Dynamo Moscow is set to host SKA as the teams clash for the fourth time this season. SKA currently leads the series 2-1. Both teams boast star players in excellent form, with Dynamo Moscow’s Nikita Gusev riding an impressive 11-game scoring streak. On the SKA side, Marat Khairullin is showcasing his skills with a four-game streak and an impressive ten points during this span. Dynamo Moscow currently sits atop the Western Conference, having triumphed in their previous four matches; on the other hand, SKA occupies the 5th position and is looking to rebound after a recent loss to Torpedo, setting the stage for an exciting and closely contested game.

The Christmas matchday will however start in the Far East, with a showdown between Amur and Neftekhimik. The game will be key for the playoffs qualification – the Tigers have the upper hand with their ninth place in the standings, but Neftekhimik defeated them twice this season.

A showdown between CSKA and Salavat Yulaev closes a light KHL matchday for Christmas. Both CSKA and Salavat Yulaev will be eager to return to victory, but the Muscovites lost their previous three matches and are having a disappointing period. On its hand, Salavat Yulaev had points in its most recent eight matches.
