Big battle in Ufa, classic clash between Dynamo and Avangard tonight!

Preview
The classic showdown between these two excellent teams is back. Dynamo Moscow is still one of the leaders in the West despite recently halting their winning streak, while Avangard sits in the middle of the Eastern Conference standings. In addition to the traditional and historical rivalry between the teams, it will be fascinating to witness the battle of club leaders. Nikita Gusev and Jordan Weal on one side, Vladimir Tkachyov and Ryan Spooner on the other – each member of this group has already tallied 10+ points this season – the big guns are at work.

The KHL matchday starts with another exciting showdown when Salavat Yulaev hosts Metallurg. The Ufa side has lost its previous five encounters to Magnitka, who also already defeated Salavat Yulaev earlier this season. However, this is truly the kind of game that can easily go either way – moreover, Metallurg is on a rare three-game losing streak, despite newly signed Alexander Petunin netting his first tally under Andrei Razin in Magnitogorsk.

In the last clash of this light KHL matchday Kunlun Red Star hosts Amur. The Tigers lost their four previous matches, but defeated the Dragons in their last five home games. Let’s see if they will keep on with this tradition and halt their recent skid. However, Kunlun has already achieved a victory over Amur.
