Lada, Barys seek first win!

Preview
Both Lada and Barys find themselves in search of their first victory in this KHL season. Lada’s return to the league after a hiatus has been challenging, and Barys underwent significant player changes, losing key figures like Nikita Mikhailis to Metallurg.

Tonight, Lada takes on Amur at home, hoping to secure that elusive first win and build momentum. Meanwhile, Barys faces a formidable opponent – and, so far, unbeaten – in Avangard in Omsk, and they’ll be eager to turn their fortunes around. It’s a crucial juncture for both teams as they aim to kickstart their campaigns and start climbing the standings.

Another exciting showdown will be Sibir’s second game in their new arena – this time against Avtomobilist. Novosibirsk’s goalie Anton Krasotkin has been fine in the home opener against Barys, and he’ll be called to another excellent performance. In the meantime, Dynamo Moscow hosts HC Sochi. The Blue-and-Whites didn’t have their best start, and will want to rebound back.

Vityaz hosting Metallurg ends an eventful KHL Saturday. Metallurg is another team off to a great start, with last year’s top rookie Nikita Grebyonkin netting a double in Moscow against Dynamo on Thursday. Ten league teams hit the ice today as the first full week of action approaches its end.
