Eight games tonight on a busy KHL Monday!

Preview
The Monday action starts in Kazakhstan, with Barys hosting Sibir. Both teams have lost their opener, and will want to revenge as soon as possible. The action then moves to the Urals as Avtomobilist hosts Salavat Yulaev in one of the top games of the matchday. Both teams have won their first game of the season, and thus only one of the top Eastern conference sides can go on with its winning streak.

The last two games in the East see Lada welcoming SKA, and Ak Bars entertaining Traktor. The Togliatti side lost its first match in their new KHL journey, and they will want to revenge and please the home crowd. However, they have never defeated SKA in league matches. The game between Ak Bars and Traktor promises to be an exciting one, with Kazan coming off its Opening Cup win over CSKA, and Traktor defeating Lada thanks to two points by Sergei Kalinin. However, Ak Bars will want to celebrate Bilyaletdinov’s 1,200th game in the Russian championship with a victory.

The action then moves to the West with four clashes. First, Vityaz hosts Dinamo Minsk. The Belarusians had a fantastic comeback in their first game against Neftekhimik, while Vityaz lost to Amur. Two games are scheduled in Moscow, with Dynamo welcoming Amur and Spartak facing Severstal. Both Moscow sides lost their opening game, and they will want to bounce back. However, their opposition will be fierce – Severstal had a great showing against Sochi, while Amur had a fantastic debut from his star forward, Alexande Khokhlachyov, who was recently traded to the Far East franchise from his native Spartak.
