Can SKA recover after game three’s debacle?

Four different skaters netted goals for the reigning champ as CSKA blanked SKA at home with Adam Reideborn achieving a 26-save shutout. The Muscovites played one of their best games of the season, while SKA couldn’t finish its chances and it was only the second time that the St. Petersburg side was left scoreless this season following a 0:1 loss to Lokomotiv back in late January. CSKA also had 18 blocked shots, being able to sustain SKA’s pressure and plenty of attacks from its leading players, with each of Dmitrij Jaskin, Mikhail Vorobyov, and Marat Khusnutdinov failing to convert their chances.

17:00: СSKA vs SKA

Series stand
CSKA is leading the series 2-1 (3:2 3ОТ, 1:2, 4:0).

About the game

Adam Reideborn collected his third shutout of this year’s playoffs as CSKA marches on taking the lead in the Western Conference finals. However, they shouldn’t think they have won already, as SKA is not an easy opponent, and its leaders will be most likely able to forget the defeat and start game four from scratch. As Fredrik Claesson netted his first post-season goals, only Artyom Sergeyev, Nikolai Makarov, and Vladimir Bryukvin haven’t scored so far for CSKA.

CSKA’s goalie Adam Reideborn is on a 70:33 shutout streak.

CSKA’s defenseman Darren Dietz had at least an assist in each of his previous three games, totaling four helpers.
