Series between Ak Bars and Admiral back to Vladivostok for game six!

Preview
Admiral managed to keep the semi-finals series alive on Friday, with a raid in Kazan and a hard-fought 2:1 win in regulation. After a one-two punch in the second period, the Leonid Tambijevs’ men switched to a more conservative approach and maintained the league with the help of another stellar performance by goalie Nikita Serebryakov and despite a late-gasp goal by Ak Bars leader Alexander Radulov. Today, the Vladivostok side will play on home soil trying to force the series to an unpredictable game seven.

10:00: Admiral vs Ak Bars

Series stand

Ak Bars leads the series 3-2 (3:2, 2:1, 0:1 ОТ, 2:1 ОТ, 1:2)

About the game

The Sailors played more of an adventurous game in the sixth contest and despite the home side dominating for large traits in the game, they grabbed a fundamental win scoring two quick goals in the middle frame while Nikita Serebryakov stunned the Ak Bars’ offense once again with 48 saves and only surrendering to a ricochet following a shot by Alex Radulov on the man advantage with fewer than ten minutes to the final hooter. The Admiral goalie was instrumental once again closer to the end of the game, when he had two phenomenal saves in a row to stop Dmitry Yudin and Radulov again from tying things up.

Today, Admiral will be again on a do-or-die situation as the Vladivostok side will try to keep its season alive, and will be in front of its home crowd.

Injury list

Admiral: Dinar Khamidullin, Gleb Zyryanov.

Milestone alert

Ak Bars’ forward Alexander Radulov may become the fourth player in history to reach 650 points in the KHL (currently at 649).
