Best Players of the 2022-2023 twenty-first week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the Regular Season’s twenty-first week in four categories.

Last week, the League’s teams played 33 games, with 533 players (39 goalies, 178 defensemen, and 316 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 4.55 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the first time in his career was Adam Huska (Torpedo) who won two games from three last week, with one more shootout win. Huska faced 102 shots, or 34 per night, posting a saves percentage of 97.06% and a goals-against average of 0.97. In the 4:0 Torpedo’s win over Spartak, Huska posted his second shutout of this season.

- Best defenseman for the third time in his career was Libor Sulak (Admiral), who scored 4 (1+3) points in two games last week. The Admiral blueliner posted no negative ratings, ending the week with a plus-4 differential. He also recorded two hits, blocked one shot, and had two takeaways.

- Best forward for the first time in his career was Alexander Kadeikin (Salavat Yulaev), who scored 4 (2+2) points in three games last week. Kadeikin posted no negative ratings, ending the week with a plus-2 differential. He also recorded two hits, blocked one shot, and had one takeaway.

- Best rookie for the first second in his career was forward Nikita Grebyonkin (Amur), who scored 4 (3+1) points in three games last week. The Amur’s rookie posted a double in the game against Sibir, and also recorded three hits, blocked three shots, and had two takeaways.
