Admiral and Amur clash again!
The Far East derby is at its fifth edition of the season, with the series being now tied at two after Admiral defeated Amur on Thursday in Khabarovsk, with Libor Sulak, Dmitry Sidlyarov, and Alexander Gorshkov scoring for the Sailors. Slovak forward Michal Kristof had two assists for Admiral, while Kazakh d-man Valeri Orekhov had a solid debut on the blueline, posting an assist on Sidlyarov’s game-winner and a thundering hit that sent Amur’s rookie Yaroslav Likhachyov right on Admiral’s bench.
However, today Amur will prepare a powerful reply, and will try to go on in the regional rivalry series, especially considering that after yesterday’s wins by Barys and Traktor, they slipped down to tenth position in the Eastern Conference standings.
