Best Players of the 2022-2023 fifteenth week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the Regular Season’s fifteenth week in four categories.

Last week, the League’s teams played 21 games, with 488 players (29 goalies, 168 defensemen, and 291 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 4.9 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the third time in his career and second time this season was Igor Bobkov (Avtomobilist), who won two games from two. Bobkov faced 71 shots, or 35.5 per night, posting a saves percentage of 97.18% and a goals-against average of 1.01.

- Best defenseman for the third time in his career was Grigory Panin (Salavat Yulaev), who scored 2 (1+1) points in two games last week. Panin posted no negative ratings, ending the week with a plus-4 cumulative differential. The Ufa blueliner netted the game-winner in the 3:1 win over Avangard, and also recorded five hits and two blocked shots.

- Best forward for the fourth time in his career and second time this season was Nikita Gusev (SKA), who scored four goals in three games last week. Gusev posted no negative ratings, ending the week with a plus-3 rating. He also potted the game-winner in SKA’s 2:1, OT win over Dynamo Moscow.

- Best rookie for the second time this season was forward Stanislav Yarovoi (Vityaz), who scored two goals in two matches last week. Yarovoi posted no negative ratings, ending the week wit a plus-2 differential. Yarovoi also blocked one shot and had one takeaway.
