First clash between CSKA and SKA

Preview
It’s a clash of titans tonight as CSKA hosts SKA on a light KHL Monday. Three games are on tap, with only Western Conference teams hitting the ice. Dynamo Moscow plays a back-to-back match after defeating Severstal on Sunday (4:3) with a double by Dmitry Rashevsky and Brennan Manell’s first goal as a Blue-and-Whites’ player.

Then, Torpedo and Dinamo Minsk will both try to return to victory as the sides face in Nizhny Novgorod. If Torpedo only loss to Spartak on Friday, Dinamo Minsk is on a four-game losing streak and slipped down to the eighth place in the Conference’s standings.

Naturally, however, the main game of the night will be the one between CSKA and SKA. CSKA has been disappointing this season as it’s currently just the seventh seed in the West, while SKA has been extremely successful, with just one OT loss (to Dynamo Moscow) in its march. Will CSKA manage to stop SKA’s start? Tonight, we will know!
