The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the playoff’s Conference finals in four categories.

- Best goalie for the first time in his career in the playoffs was Ivan Fedotov (CSKA), who won four times in the seven-game series against SKA. The goalie faced 191 shots, posting a saves percentage of 93.72% and a goals-against average of 1.73. Fedotov posted his first playoffs shutout in CSKA’s game seven’s 3:0 win.

- Best defenseman for the first time in his career in the playoffs was Lawrence Pilut (Traktor), who scored 5 (0+5) points in five games against Metallurg. Pilut posted no negative ratings in the series, ending with a plus-5 differential. The Swedish defenseman recorded three hits, blocked three shots, and earned two powerplays for his team.

- Best forward for the first time in his career in the playoffs was Maxim Sorkin (CSKA), who scored 5 (4+1) points in the seven games of the series against SKA. Sorkin ended only one game of seven with a negative rating, posting a plus-4 differential. In the third game of the series (6:2) Sorkin netted a double. He also recorded three hits.

- Best rookie for the first time in his career at the playoff stage was forward Marat Khusnutdinov (SKA), who had one assist in the seven games of the series against CSKA. The young forward recorded eight hits, blocked nine shots, and earned two powerplays for his team.
