Jokerit forward Jesse Joensuu banned for two games

Sporting Disciplinary Committee investigated event from the following game:

The Committee examined the incident which led to Jokerit forward Jesse Joensuu receiving a game misconduct penalty under the p. 1.7. of the art. 27 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations. After studying the incident, the Committee supported the decision of the referee and imposed on Joensuu a fine.

Under the p. 4.3.2. of the art. 27 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations, Joensuu got automatic two-game ban and a fine.
