Lauridsen banned for two games

Sporting Discirplinary Committee investigated event from the following game:

Jokerit – Lokomotiv

The Committee examined the incident which led to Jokerit defenseman Oliver Lauridsen receiving a game misconduct penalty under the p. 1.15. of the art. 27 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations. After studying the incident, the Committee supported the decision of the referee and imposed on Lauridsen a fine.

Moreover, as this was not the player’s first 5+20-minute penalty of the current season, he incurs a separate fine and an automatic two-game ban for repeat offending under p. 4.3.2. of the art. 27 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations. As a result, Lauridsen has been disqualified for two games in total.
