In the 39th minute of Saturday’s match in Moscow between Spartak and Slovan Bratislava, visiting forward Andrej Stastny picked up a major plus game misconduct penalty (5+20 minutes) for slashing.

After reviewing the incident, the KHL Disciplinary Committee upheld the referee's decision, and ruled that Stastny must pay a fine and serve a one-game suspension. However, as this was the player's second 20-minute penalty of the current season, he also incurs a separate fine and an automatic two-game ban for repeat offending.

Andrej Stastny is therefore disqualified from the next three games.
