The KHL Disciplinary Committee has investigated two incidents from Friday's match in Nizhny Novgorod between Torpedo and Sibir Novosibirsk, and three players have been suspended as a result.

After reviewing this episode, the Committee supported the referee's decision to punish Sibir forward Stepan Sannikov with a major plus game misconduct penalty (5+20 minutes) for tripping, and ruled that the player should pay a fine and serve a one-game suspension.

Following a disturbance involvng several players, the match officials handed out two more major plus game misconduct penalties - to Torpedo defenseman Grigory Zheldakov (for boarding) and to Sibir defenseman Maxim Ignatovich (for being the instigator in a brawl) – and in each case, the Committee upheld the decision. Consequently, Zheldakov and Ignatovich have each been fined and suspended for one game.
