In the 30th minute of Monday’s match in Yaroslavl, Game 3 of the Western Conference final series between Lokomotiv and SKA Saint Petersburg, visiting forward Ilya Kablukov (№29) was one of six players to receive a major penalty (5 minutes) for fisticuffs following a brawl which broke out around the Lokomotiv goal.
As this was not the first time this season that Kablukov has earned a 5-minute penalty for a fighting-related offense, he falls foul of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations on repeat offending, and as a result, he must pay a fine and serve an automatic one-game suspension.
