Maxim Goncharov of Salavat Yulaev is the latest player facing an enforced absence after falling foul of the League’s disciplinary sanctions on repeat offenders.
In the 14th minute of Wednesday’s match in Ufa against SKA Saint Petersburg, the defenseman (№57) earned his fourth misconduct penalty (10 minutes) of the current campaign, and consequently, he receives a fine and an automatic one-game suspension.
