Former Chicago, Ottawa, Arizona, Pittsburgh and Edmonton forward Rob Klinkhammer has accepted an offer of a two-year contract with Dinamo Minsk. The 29-year-old Canadian amassed 43 points ( 22+21) in 193 NHL appearances between 2010 and 2015, but spent the latter part of last season in the AHL with the Bakersfield Condors.

Slovan Bratislava has also added a Canadian to its ranks. The Slovak club has signed 30-year-old goaltender Justin Pogge, whose diverse resume includes spells in the NHL with Toronto, in Italy with Ritten Sport, and in Sweden with Färjestad.
