Salak banned for 1 game
In the 28th minute of Wednesday’s game in Kazan between Ak Bars and Sibir, the referee handed a misconduct penalty (10 minutes) to Novosibirsk goaltender Alexander Salak.
This was the player’s third 10-minute penalty of the current season, and as a result, Salak incurs an automatic one-game ban for repeat offending.
