Players of the Week 20: Murygin, Zemchyonok, Aaltonen and Ustinsky

– Best goaltender, for the fourth time this season, was Alexei Murygin (Lokomotiv), with one shutout in two victorious games on the road. Murygin allowed just a single goal and ended the week with a save percentage of 97.50 and a goals against average of 0.48; 

– Best defenseman was Artyom Zemchyonok (Admiral), who finished with a plus in both his outings on the road, earning a +3 for the week, and also provided the assist for a game-winning goal; 

– Best forward was Juhamatti Aaltonen (Jokerit), with 6 points (3+3) and a +4 from two victorious appearances. Aaltonen struck 8 shots in total and celebrated a brace against Metallurg Novokuznetsk; 

– Best rookie was last week’s winner, 21-year-old Avtomobilist goalie Igor Ustinsky, who once again helped his team achieve two wins in two games, including one shutout victory. Ustinsky ended the week with a save percentage of 95.71 and a goals against average of 1.51.
