Da Costa replaces Kovalchuk
SKA Saint Petersburg has informed the League that Ilya Kovalchuk will not be able to participate in the 2016 All-Star Game, which takes place tonight at Moscow's VTB Ice Palace. The forward, who was due to appear in his fourth All-Star Game having been captain of Team West on his three previous appearances, is still struggling with an injury picked up during the regular season.
His place in the team will be taken by CSKA Moscow's French forward, Stephane Da Costa
