The KHL Disciplinary Committee has investigated an incident from the 12th minute of Sunday’s game in Moscow between Spartak and Ak Bars, which resulted in Kazan forward Dmitry Obukhov receiving a game misconduct penalty (20 minutes) for unsporting conduct. The Committee agreed that Obukhov was guilty of abuse of an official and unsporting conduct by a player, an offense that carries a minimum two-game suspension. In the case of Dmitry Obukhov, the Committee has banned the player for three games.
