Players of the Week 6: Nalimov, Robinson, Ellison and Cherepanov
To mark the end of the sixth week’s play of the eighth season of the Championship, the Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the week in four categories.

Best goaltender was
Ivan Nalimov (Admiral), who has remained unbeaten for 180 minutes, having kept his goal intact in all three games for the Far East men this week;

Best defenseman, for the second time this season, was
Mat Robinson (Dynamo Moscow), who in three outings recorded 4 points (2+2), a +4 and 13 shots at goal;

Best forward was
Matt Ellison (Dinamo Minsk), who made three appearances and finished the week with 7 points (5+2, including a hat-trick against Avangard), a +3, and an average ice time of 21 minutes 45 seconds;

Best rookie was 19-year-old Amur defenseman
Nikita Cherepanov, who played in three games and ended the week with two victories, an average of 16 minutes 17 seconds on the ice, and a goal in the 3-2 win over Lada.
