Canadian defenseman Simon Gysbers and Swedish forward Andreas Jamtin are the latest additions to Gordie Dwyer’s multinational roster at Medvescak Zagreb.

Gysbers made 197 appearances for the Toronto Marlies in the AHL before moving to Europe two years ago, since when the 28-year-old racked up 102 games and 41 points (9+32) for Ilves, of Finland’s SM-liiga, followed by a stint in the Swedish Hockey League with IF Djurgardens, for whom he recorded 2 goals and 6 assists in 10 outings.

Jamtin’s previous employer was another SHL team, HV71 of Jonkoping. Last season, the 32-year-old winger enjoyed 50 regular season outings and posted 13 points (6+7), then added a goal and three assists in 6 play-off games.
