Razin in the driving seat at Avto
Avtomobilist has announced the appointment of Andrei Razin as the club’s new head coach. Razin, who has signed a two-year deal starting from May 1st, began his coaching career in 2012 with Kristall Saratov before taking charge of MHL side Izhstal Izhevsk, whom he guided to a runner-up spot in the 2014-15 Bratina Cup.
Also joining the Yekaterinburg coaching staff are Oleg Leontiev, who was Razin’s assistant at Izhevsk, Slovak specialist Marcel Ozimek, goaltending coach Alexei Mitroshin and fitness coach Alexander Urakov.
