Petri Matikainen leaves Slovan

Slovan Bratislava head coach Petri Matikainen has left his post to return to his native Finland, where he has signed a three-year contract to take charge of HC Pelicans, the club where he began his coaching career. Matikainen took over at Bratislava early in the current season, replacing Rostislav Cada, but the team finished the regular season in last place in the Western Conference.
