Players of the Week 22
To mark the end of the twenty-second week’s play of the seventh season of the Championship, The Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the week in four categories.
– Best goaltender was Evgeny Ivannikov (Lada), who made two appearances, ending the week with a save percentage of 96.88 and a goals against average of 0.92;
– Best defenseman, for the second time this season, was Nikita Shchitov (HC Sochi), with 3 points (1+2) from two games and a +5;
– Best forward was Charles Linglet (Dinamo Minsk), with a haul of 4 points (2+2) from two outings;
– Best rookie, also for the second time this season, was 19-year-old Atlant forward Vyacheslav Leshchenko, thanks to two goals in two games.
