November’s finest: Koskinen, Misharin, Grigorenko & Koledov
To mark the end of the third month’s play of the seventh season of the Championship, the Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the month in four categories.
– Best goaltender was Mikko Koskinen (Sibir), who in 10 games recorded 8 victories, two shutouts, a goals against average of 1.4 and a save percentage of 95.32;
– Best defenseman was Georgy Misharin (CSKA), with 6 points (1+5) in 10 outings - all victories, and a +12 for the month;
– Best forward was his team-mate Igor Grigorenko, who banked 10 points (8+2) during those 10 wins;
– Best rookie was 20-year-old HC Sochi defenseman Pavel Koledov, who played in 10 games, finishing the month with 2 assists and a +2.
