For the sixth time in its history, the Kontinental Hockey League’s most coveted trophy, the Gagarin Cup, is about to embark on its traditional journey to the cities hosting the games in the final series of the playoffs. This year, the famous silverware faces a long trek to Magnitogorsk and then on to Prague.
At 13:00 Moscow Time, on Thursday, April the 17th, the Gagarin Cup will set off from the KHL head office (20/2, Ovchinnikovskaya Embankment, Moscow) on its way to Magnitogorsk, to arrive on Friday, April the 18th, in time for Game 1 of the Gagarin Cup final series between Metallurg and Lev.
