Owing to the large number of accredited media personnel, the surge in demand for the final series, and the limited number of seats in the press tribunes at the arenas, additional accreditation will only be granted to those media personnel who acquired accreditation for the entire season.
Applications for accreditation must be submitted by email to the KHL Press Service at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. It is important for every media to indicate clearly in a headed letter the number of employees included in the application (maximum quota for printed media – two reporters and one photographer; for photo agencies – two photographers; for television crews – three employees), and the Conference (Eastern, Western or both).
Completed forms should be submitted before 18:00 Moscow Time on Wedensday, the 16th of April. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. The names of successful applicants will be published (in separate lists for East and West) after midday Moscow Time on Thursday, the 17th of April on the official KHL website and on the club websites.
As the number of available places is strictly limited, priority for accreditation will go to national sporting media, socio-political media with dedicated sports sections, TV crews from nationwide channels, worldwide photographic agencies, and broadcasting crews from Internet sports sites.
Successful applicants can collect their accreditation cards by presenting their season accreditation. In Magnitogorsk, cards may be collected from 12:00 to 17:00 (at the press-center of the arena, local time) on the 18th of April; in Prague, from 17:00 to 18:45 (local time) on the April 22.
We remind holders of 2013-14 season accreditation that this is not valid for the Gagarin Cup Finals; media personnel hoping to cover the final series will only be granted access if they have successfully applied for and received the additional accreditation.
