Players of the Week 15: Kovar, Granak, Bochenski & Skutar

To mark the end of the fifteenth week’s play of the sixth season of the KHL Championship, the League has rewarded the best players of the week in four categories:

– Best goaltender was Jakub Kovar (Avtomobilist), with two shut-outs in two appearances; 

– Best defenseman was Dominik Granak (Dynamo Moscow), thanks to two assists in two games and a +6; 

– Best forward was Brandon Bochenski (Barys), with a haul of 9 points (5+4) from just two outings, including a hat-trick, a double and a game-winner, and a +5 for the week; 

– Best rookie was Metallurg Novokuznetsk’s 19-year-old defenseman Mark Skutar who in two games recorded 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists), a +4 and an average ice time of 10 minutes 45 seconds.
