Players of the Week 12: Proskuryakov, Kulyash, Bochenski & Sorokin

To mark the end of the twelfth week’s play of the sixth season of the KHL Championship, the League has rewarded the best players of the week in four categories:

– Best goaltender was Ilya Proskuryakov (CSKA), who made two appearances and recorded one shutout, a save percentage of 95.16 and a goals against average of 1.5;

– Best defenseman was Denis Kulyash (Avangard), with 4 points (2+2) from three games and a +1 for the week;

– Best forward was Brandon Bochenski (Barys), with a haul of 7 points (2+5) from three outings;

– Best rookie for the second time this season was teenage goalie Ilya Sorokin (Metallurg Novokuznetsk), who played in two games and finished the week with a 91.57 save percentage.
