Dynamo Moscow completed a third win from three games in the East. Saturday’s 2-1 comeback win at Sibir Novosibirsk completed a return of eight points for the Moscow team from its most arduous road trip of the campaign. Timofei Shishkanov had put Sibir in front on 19:47, but in the second period Leonid Komarov and Alexei Kudashov handed Dynamo the win.
Lazarev at the treble
Anton Lazarev was the hero for Metallurg Novokuznetsk, hitting a hat-trick in a 4-1 home win over Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. The forward had failed to find the net in his previous 10 appearances this season, but led the way on Saturday as he fired his team into a 3-0 lead. Robert Nilsson pulled one back for Torpedo, but Randy Robitaille completed the scoring to make it 4-1.
