Midday on the 14th of January saw the completion of the supporters’ ballot to select the starting lines and starting goaltenders for both Alexei Yashin’s team and Jaromir Jagr’s team to contest the Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game.
For team Yashin (players from the Western Conference), starting the game with the captain will be Spartak goaltender Dominik Hasek (32,615 supporters’ votes), defensemen Alexander Guskov (Lokomotiv, 29,881 votes) and Sandis Ozolins (Dinamo Riga, 29,115 votes), and also attackers Sergei Mozyakin (Atlant, 28,271 votes) and Maxim Sushinsky (SKA, 26,394 votes).
The starting lineup for Jaromir Jagr’s team (players from the Eastern Conference) will be Avangard goaltender Karri Ramo (55,459 votes), defensemen Martin Skoula (Avangard, 38,696 votes) and Ilya Nikulin (Ak Bars, 38,299 votes), plus forwards Roman Cervenka (Avangard, 43,795 votes) and Alexander Radulov (Salavat Yulaev, 33,374 votes).
The next selection ballot is by representatives of the media, who from the 15th to the 22nd of January will cast their votes to determine the players for the second lines and goaltenders.
