Dinamo Minsk has signed Canadian forward Quinton Howden, whose resume shows 92 appearances in the NHL for the Florida Panthers (10 goals, 7 assists) and 5 for the Winnipeg Jets. The 25-year-old former Canada U17, U18 and U20 international has agreed a one-year deal with the Minsk club.
SKA Saint Petersburg's 23-year-old forward Alexander Khokhlachyov, who made nine NHL appearances in three seasons with the Boston Bruins, has returned to Spartak – the club he left in January of 2013.
In return, the Petersburg club receives the rights to 23-year-old defenseman Yaroslav Dyblenko.
Dynamo Moscow has added two forwards to its ranks. The Blue-and-Whites have agreed a one-year-deal with 29-year-old Nikita Komarov, formerly of Dinamo Minsk, and have given a three-year contract to 20-year-old Timur Besharov, from Dynamo's MHL affiliate, HC MVD.
Slovan has brought in reinforcements in the form of Canadian international forward Colby Genoway, 33, once of Manitoba, Portland and Hartford in the AHL, and more recently, with Medvescak of the KHL for the past two seasons
