Players of the Semis: Nilsson, Zakharchuk, Grigorenko & Semyonov

To mark the end of the second round of the Gagarin Cup play-offs – the Conference semi-finals, the Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the round in four categories. 

– Best goaltender was Anders Nilsson (Ak Bars), who in 5 games achieved three shutouts, a save percentage of 96.48 and a goals against average of 0.89; 

– Best defenseman was Stepan Zakharchuk (Ak Bars), with 3 points (2+1) from his 5 appearances and a +5 for the series; 

– Best forward was Igor Grigorenko (CSKA), who in 5 outings amassed 8 points (7+1), including two game-winning goals, and a +4; 

– Best rookie was 20-year-old Avangard forward Kirill Semyonov, who played in all 5 games, ending the series with 2 points (2+0) and an average ice time of 18 minutes 29 seconds.
