Tom Barrasso fined for outburst

In the 55th minute of Friday’s game between Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Traktor, former NHL goaltender Tom Barrasso, now assistant coach at Metallurg, was sent off for the remainder of the game for abuse of the officials and unsporting conduct.
The KHL Disciplinary Committee has upheld the referee’s decision, and has imposed on Barrasso a fine of 30,000 rubles (approx. $990).
