The West has reigned surpreme during the event's 8-year history, with 6 victories against 2 for the East, but few if any would doubt that the game in Astana will be fiercely contested. The climax to the Week of Hockey Stars is provided by the traditional Master Show skils competition and the mini-tournament between the teams representing the Kontinental Hockey League's four divisions. Every year the organizers spring a few surprises, particularly with the Master Show. Last year's new contest, the Biathlon, turned out to be one of the highlights of the program, while “old favorites” such as the Shootout are just as popular. There are bound to be more innovations and surprises in the 2018 Maser Show, so stay tuned to this site for the latest news!

The grand finale arrives with the knockout tournament featuring the finest stars playing for the four Divisions of the League, and this year there is an extra treat: in addition to the semi-finals and final, there will also be a match to decide third place.
