The KHL Disciplinary Committee has investigated an incident from the 41st minute of Tuesday’s match in Cherepovets between Severstal and Traktor Chelyabinsk, in which home team forward Matej Stransky was sent to the locker room for checking to the head and neck area.

After reviewing the episode, the Committee supported the referee's decision to punish the foul with a major plus game misconduct penalty (5+20 minutes), and as a result, Stransky also receives a fine and a one-game suspension.
