The greatest goals and most spectacular saves, starring Nikita Yazkov, Nikita Bespalov, Evgeny Chesalin, Igor Saprykin, Teddy Purcell and Karri Ramo – the KHL is proud to bring you the best moments from the eleventh week of the tenth Championship.

Top 10 Goals: Yazkov's pace, power, and precision

Our tenth finest goal of the week was a powerplay masterclass from Avangard, with the finishing touch supplied by one of the Omsk Men's Swedish contingent, Dennis Everberg. Young Lada forward Denis Zernov is next, with an elegant coast-to-coast against Magnitogorsk. The Togliatti team was on the receiving end of this week's number 8, a delightful weaving run from young Russian international defenseman Nikita Tryamkin showing the kind of killer instinct of which any forward would be proud. Next is a fine combination from CSKA against Avangard, with a perceptive pass from behind the net by Kirill Kaprizov setting up Sergei Shumakov, and there is another clinical combination at number 6, but it was the work of Spartak's two Alexanders – Dergachyov finding Khokhlachyov – leaving the SKA defense standing.

We begin the top five with Admiral's Vladimir Tkachyov sailing down the right flank and cutting inside to provide a neat assist to Dmitry Sayustov. Next, in a similar vein, is a marvellous, long-range, precision pass from Amur forward Alexei Byvaltsev sending team-mate Vladislav Ushenin through in a 1-on-0, and he promptly outfoxed the goalie with a smart body-swerve and gleefully roofed the puck. At number three is the first ever KHL goal for Avangard's new Canadian sniper, Teddy Purcell, expertly deceiving Jokerit's formidable netminder, Karri Ramo, to score with a deft backhander, and in runner-up spot we have Avtomobilist's Evgeny Chesalin, who got the better of two Magnitogorsk defensemen before finishing with aplomb, but our gold-medal goal for Week 11 was scored by the Week 10 silver-medalist, Ak Bars forward Nikita Yazkov, racing to reach a pass from Finnish defenseman Atte Ohtamaa and producing a vicious, but deadly accurate strike to beat the goalie from a tight angle.

Top 10 Saves: Bespalov breaks Dynamo hearts

Our countdown of the finest saves of Week 11 gets underway with Salavat Yulaev's Andrei Kareyev, making an instinctive stop to thwart Kirill Voronin, who thought he had routinely directly a rebound into an empty net. Next is an effort from last week's winner, Ilya Ezhov of Neftekhimik, with a brave parry against a howitzer slap shot from Kunlun's Brandon Yip, and at number 8 we have Lada's Anton Krasotkin, who was called into action many times in the match against Magnitogorsk, including an elegant catch to deny Nick SchausAlexander Yeryomenko, Dynamo Moscow's three-time Gagarin Cup winner, rescued the Blue-and-Whites with a quickfire triple save against Dinamo Riga, while Marek Mazanec of Slovan pounced to prevent Teddy Purcell from doubling his KHL tally.

Juha Metsola of Amur has just been named Goaltender of the Week, and his victory in a one-on-one duel with Salavat Yulaev's Philip Larsen kicks off our top five, but this was bettered by Traktor's Vasily Demchenko, who leaped across his goal to deny what seemed a certain goal for Avtomobilist. Jokerit's Karri Ramo performed a similar feat, only in more spectacular fashion, to foil Sibir, while Igor Saprykin of Vityaz showed remarkable agility to close down an unguarded corner and frustrate Avangard. However, our best of the week came in Saturday's Moscow derby at Dynamo and consists of two amazing reaction saves by the Spartak goalie. Take a bow, Nikita Bespalov.
