We have reached the grand finale weekend of the Week of Hockey Stars, the seven-day feast of hockey which got underway last Sunday, the 15th of January, with the YHL Challenge Cup, continued with the Sledge Hockey Continental Cup from the 17th to the 19th, and then the first ever Women’s Hockey League All-Star Game on the evening of the 19th. Now the fans will be treated to Saturday’s Master Show and, finally, on Sunday, the 22nd of January, the Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game, which this year will be a four-team tournament between the Divisions of the League.

All the devoted hockey fans who travel to the capital of Bashkortostan will be welcomed with a wide array of events and surprises to ease them into the festive atmosphere. The Ufa Arena and the adjacent Fan Zone throw open their doors on Saturday at 12:30 and on Sunday at 13:30, a full two hours before the start of the Master Show (14:30 Local Time) and KHL All-Star Game (15:30 Local Time).

Everyone is welcome to join in the hockey weekend festivities in the open air by the ice palace, which has been transformed into a vast zone of entertainment. There is a miniature city of ice, with ice sculptures decked out in KHL club jerseys, attractions where you can test skills in various hockey contests, and where the most active can try their hand at winning super prizes from the Haier company. There is a great store offering KHL All-Star Game merchandise, stalls selling food and drink, and four special stands run by the KHL’s partner, Mastercard, where fans can sign up to the Priceless League and win wonderful presents in interactive hockey. And the fans will be joined by the KHL club mascots, who as always are eager to play their part and join in the contests and the fun.

From the moment they step through the stadium doors, those lucky enough to hold a coveted ticket for the Master Show and KHL All-Star Game will find plenty of attractions to delay their march to the stands. There will be the traditional and highly popular autograph sessions with the All-Star Game players, with support from the KHL partners MegaFon and Rostelekom, on Saturday before the Master Show and Sunday before the All-Star Game.

In all, at the Ufa Arena there will be a total of 13 zones provided to entertain the fans. At the Mastercard stand in the stadium foyer there will be a prize draw where spectators can win gifts, tickets, hockey jerseys and vests, commemorative pucks and many other great items. Those who send a wish to their favorite hockey star earn the chance to win a priceless gift from Mastercard.

For fans who want to know how it feels to be a great hockey star, KHL partner Coca-Cola has created its own version of one of the contests from the Master Show, the Hockey Biathlon, and furthermore, on both Saturday and Sunday, Coca-Cola will be giving away free applause sticks, the favored attribute of hockey fans everywhere.

If you would like your great day out at the KHL All-Star Game captured on film, then Rostelekom are running a photo session while MegaFon have a Photo Zone. Rostelekom also invite you to their interactive “Score a Goal” Zone, and visitors can see with their own eyes the workings of the new intellectual program, Smart Home, or try the Interactive TV 2.0. And new subscribers with MegaFon can take part in a draw to win many Week of Hockey Stars prizes.

At the stand run by KHL licensee, Panini, young fans will be given free albums in which to keep their KHL season 2016-17 sticker collection, plus a starter pack of 5 stickers, as well as take part in a fun photo session with their faces poking through cutout figures wearing the logo of their favorite club. Panini will also be offering discounts tofans wishing to buy the famous stickers.

At the Arena, there will be no fewer than five stores with a wide assortment of official, licensed wares on sale. We are confident than any fan will be able to find the special souvenir or item they desire. There will be merchandise dedicated to the KHL All-Star Game, the WHL All-Star Game, and the YHL Challenge Cup. The most coveted souvenir for many is the playing jersey, and these will be on sale with the Division jersey numbers and in four styles – white, gold, green or blue.

Fans can also buy caps and t-shirts, pucks and badges, scarves and hats, tracksuits and dresses, pennants and erasers, bags and magnets, key-rings and teddy bears, cellphone covers and much more. All these great products are decked out with the colors of the KHL and the national emblem of Bashkortostan, the host region of the Week of Hockey Stars. Fans can also buy these goods from our Internet Store, and pay by credit card, cash, or gift voucher.
