Torpedo forward Vladimir Galuzin has been forced to pull out of this weekend’s All-Star Game in Ufa due to a severe bout of tonsillitis. His place in the Tarasov Division roster has been given to his fellow Nizhny Novgorod forward, Alexei Potapov.

The Tarasov Division line-up is now as follows:

Goaltender: Ilya Sorokin (CSKA);
Defensemen: Mat Robinson (Dynamo Moscow), Igor Ozhiganov (CSKA), Jakub Jerabek (Vityaz);
Forwards: Valery Nichushkin, Ivan Telegin (both - CSKA), Brandon Kozun (Локомотив), Maxim Afinogenov (Vityaz), Alexei Potapov (Torpedo), Dmitry Kagarlitsky (Severstal).

In addition to the KHL’s finest, a place in each Division roster goes to each of the four best-performing juniors in the Youth Hockey League (YHL) Challenge Cup, which took place on Sunday, the 15th of January. The four winners are: Kirill Tsulygin (Tolpar), Anton Kovalyov (Omsk Hawks), Andrei Altiparmakyan (SKA-Silver Lions), and Pavel Podluboshnov (Red Army).

Full lists of the players chosen to participate in the 2017 KHL All-Star Game, as well as all the latest news concerning the big event, can be found on the official Week of Hockey Stars website.
