Following a request from the Refereeing Department, the KHL Disciplinary Committee has revisited Sunday’s match in Minsk between Dinamo and Medvescak Zagreb.

Yesterday, the Committee banned Medvescak defenseman Shaone Morrisonn for three games as a result of his third 20-minute penalty of the season, and today the scrutiny turned to Morrisonn’s team-mate and fellow Canadian, Alexandre Bolduc, and the minor penalty (2 minutes) he received in the 15th minute for tripping.

After studying the incident, the Committee upgraded the forward’s offense to one of tripping and injuring an opponent, for which he receives a major plus game misconduct penalty (5+20 minutes) and a fine. As this is Bolduc’s second 20-minute penalty of the current campaign, he also incurs an automatic one-game suspension.
