In the 29th minute of Friday’s game in Khabarovsk between Amur and Traktor Chelyabinsk, a bout of fisticuffs erupted between visiting defenseman Konstantin Klimontov and home forward Vyacheslav Ushenin, for which both players were given a major penalty (5 minutes). As this was the second time this season that Klimontov has earned a 5-minute penalty for fighting, he receives an automatic one-game suspension for repeat offending.

Meanwhile, in Zagreb, Medvescak’s Blake Parlett picked up a misconduct penalty (10 minutes) in the game against Spartak. This was his third 10-minute penalty of the current campaign, and as a result, the Canadian defenseman is automatically suspended for one game.
