Former Colorado and Washington forward Ryan Stoa has said goodbye to Metallurg Novokuznetsk and joined Neftekhimik. The Nizhnekamsk men agreed to pay a transfer fee for the 28-year-old USA international. The deal signals the end of the most lethal attacking line of the current season, and Metallurg must now find a replacement to partner Maxim Kazakov and Kirill Kaprizov.

Another North American seeking a new employer is Slovan forward Louis Leblanc. The Bratislava club placed on waivers the 24-year-old Canadian, who has earned a -6 and failed to register a single point in three appearances since his arrival last month.
