In preparation for Spartak’s return to the League, the Muscovites have recruited two more players from the Anglosphere, following the signing of Matthew Gilroy last week.
Joining the Red-and-Whites’ defense is Canadian Charles Genoway (pictured), previously of Dinamo Riga, while strengthening the offensive lines is American center Casey Wellman, who has 54 NHL games under his belt from spells with Minnesota and Washington.
Wellman has spent most of his career in the AHL, with overall figures of 226 points (96+130) from 300 outings. His statistics for last season, while stationed with the Hershey Bears, read 75 games, 25 goals and 29 assists. Both North Americans have signed a one-year deal.
