Owing to the huge level of interest in the Gagarin Cup final series, the large number of KHL-accredited journalists and the limited number of available places in the press boxes at the Kazan and Saint Petersburg arenas, the League has decided to grant additional press accreditation for those wishing to cover the deciding games of the Championship. Accreditation for the final series will only be granted to media personnel who already possess full season accreditation for the 2014-15 Championship.
Requests for additional accreditation should be made via the following address: email@example.com. The number of personnel applying for accreditation must be clearly specified on the official form (the maximum for printed media is two reporters and one photographer; for photographic agencies the limit is two photographers; for TV crews, it is three employees).
Applications will be accepted until 12.00 on the 10th of April. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
The list of successful applicants will be published by the League on the on the official KHL website and on the official SKA and Ak Bars club websites soon after 15.00 on the 10th of April.
The number of available places is strictly limited. Priority will be given to representatives of national sports media, socio-political media with sections devoted to sport, national TV channels, international photographic agencies and employees of Internet sporting sites.
Successful applicants may receive their accreditation cards by presenting their season accreditation at the press center of the relevant arena before one of the first four games of the final series, namely in Kazan on the 11th and 13th of April or in Saint Petersburg on the 15th and 17th.
Further information regarding times and locations for the receipt of accreditation will be published alongside the lists of successful applicants. Accreditation is valid for the entire final series. Please note that all season accreditation is hereby canceled. Admission to games of the final series is only available to those holding the new, additional accreditation.
