Avangard goaltender Konstantin Barulin, selected by the fans to start the 2015 All-Star Game in Sochi this Sunday, has picked up an injury which rules him out of the League’s showcase event. His place will be taken by Sibir’s 28-year-old netminder Alexander Salak, who moved to the Novosibirsk club from SKA Saint Petersburg this season. In 30 games for the two clubs during the current campaign, Salak has recorded 23 victories, two shutouts, a save percentage of 92.5 and a goals against average of 2.11.
