Two goals in each period helped Admiral to a 6-3 victory in the Far East derby against Amur. The home team took control early on, opening up a 4-0 lead in the first 35 minutes. Vladislav Usehnin
and Jan Kolar
made it 2-0 in the first period and Enver Lisin
and Artyom Zemchyonok
- the latter with a short-handed effort - stretched the advantage in the second.
Amur tried to make a game of it after that, with markers from Tuukka Mantyla
and Dmitry Lugin
either side of the second intermission but two quick Admiral goals crushed the fightback. Lisin helped Tom Wandell
make it 5-2 and Niclas Bergfors
added a sixth 80 seconds later. Mikhail Fisenko
completed the scoring late on, but Admiral took the win and moved just one point behind ninth-placed Avtomobilist.
